"The Beatles" is a double album, released by The Beatles in 1968. It is often referred to as "The White Album," with reference to its predominantly plain white sleeve. The album was released at the height of the Beatles' popularity, and is often hailed as one of the major accomplishments in popular music.

With this album, each of the four band members began to showcase the range and depth of their own individual songwriting talents and styles that would be carried over to their eventual solo careers.

The White Album is the Beatles' best-selling album at 19-times platinum and the ninth-best-selling album of all time in the United States.
