CDs and Music - Just The Good Stuff
Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan ranked # 4 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums list.
Highway 61 Revisited, Bob Dylan's sixth album, is widely regarded as one of the greatest albums ever. It includes Dylan's first top ten single, "Like A Rolling Stone."
While "Like A Rolling Stone" was completed in mid-June of 1965, the rest of the album was recorded with a different producer, Bob Johnston, shortly after Dylan's legendary appearance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.
The album peaked at #3 on Billboard's Pop Albums chart (and #4 in the UK), while "Like a Rolling Stone" reached #2 on the US Pop Singles chart.
